Hi, I am Isabella!
I’m a writer and editor originally from New Jersey who has spent the past several years living in Rome, Italy, where I recently graduated from John Cabot University with a B.A. in Communications and a minor in Creative Writing. This fall, I’ll begin an M.Phil in Creative Writing at Trinity College Dublin.
My work explores culture, music, identity, travel, and the ways people create meaning through art and storytelling. I began my career in music journalism, writing and editing for publications including AFTR PRTY, NVR Come Home Magazine, CUSP Zine, and Milk Crate. Alongside journalism, I’ve increasingly shifted toward creative nonfiction and literary writing. My creative nonfiction piece “A Mouth Full of Carbonara” was published in Open Doors Literary Magazine.
Over the years, I’ve worked across editorial leadership, print production, event coverage, and artist-focused storytelling. As Head Editor of NVR Come Home Magazine, I led the development and editing of multiple print issues while continuing to expand my own creative practice across nonfiction, fiction, and cultural criticism.
